Thompson Networks Participates in Community 5K Run Honoring Brandon Boger

DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania (October 23, 2007) — In the spirit of community, good will and determination, Thompson Networks employees participated in the October 13 Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk honoring the memory Brandon Boger, a Central Bucks High School East student who died in 2005 from catastrophic injuries sustained in an auto accident. The event attracted widespread community support with people of all ages participating in the run/walk.

“Honoring an outstanding young man such as Brandon in this way helps keep our community close and reminds us that we all can make a difference,” said Dave Thompson, President of Thompson Networks, a Doylestown-based provider of voice and data solutions, who was a Diamond level sponsor of the race.

The Brandon W. Boger Memorial Fund was created in 2006 by Brandon’s sister, Courtney, and the 5K run is a continuation of her dream to keep Brandon’s spirit alive in the community. Proceeds will help provide college financial scholarship assistance and recognition to Central Bucks High School East scholar athletes who exhibit an unwavering, indomitable spirit to pursue their dreams and career goals in the same exemplary manner as Brandon.
